illegals, yes...

certain types of felons, yes.  I do not believe pedophiles can be rehabilitated, so if they must be released from prisons/mental hospitals, then I believe that pedophiles/rapists should be chipped.  

I do not believe those who commited non-violent, drug related offenses, or financhial crimes should be chipped.  They screwed up, yes..but I do not believe that there's a safety issue with these types of criminals.

I am not in favor of using the verichip to "monitor" felons or illegal immigrants,etc.  First of all it is not okay for the government to have that much control.  Second with the money that they would use in "chipping" felons it would be much more effective to put that towards treatment and rehabilitation. We must begin to move away from the prison society we have become.  It is not reforming the inmates, it is just another big money making industry in our society.  Felons are people to, and still have rights, so do illegal immigrants.  As a society we have to help change this attitude and bring about change so that money is spent more on rehabilitation and education instead of prison, verichips, and other wasteful control tactics thought up by the government that do not solve the problem.

No they are NOT animals and shouldn't be compared to them in any context. This dehumanizing of PEOPLE is the first step to atrocities against other humans. Hitler dehumanized the Jews, slave owners and KKK dehumanized blacks often comparing them to animals. DO NOT GO THERE you might be next!

No, God did not chip all sinners, He gave them the opportunity to repent. Illegals can still become legals so can felons be rehabilitated..the exception for me would have been murderers then again they serve life in prison or are executed so they are not on the streets.
