As long they're quality athletes, and as long as they're getting paid a decent purse, why not?  There's already female boxing, back in the day I don't think anybody expected Ali-Frazier IV to be the daughters, but it happened.

As long as the athletes and the promotion is legitimate.

Yes definitely. Often times, the average female MMA fighter seems more technical than the average male MMA fighter. I enjoy watching them fight, Gina Carano included. However, there are many female Japanese female MMA fighters that Gina can't even hold a candle to.

Sakoto Shinashi, for one.

But yes, to me MMA is MMA. And while I do have a slight bias towards men fighting, I don't have any objection to seeing female fights on the card.

No.  That would be like watching roller derby or female professional wrestling, which turn out to be hoaky.

I would love to see more women fighting in MMA. It seems that the ones that do have a lot heart and I would think that it would increase women's awareness of the sport. Women can see the things that they can accomplish in a fight setting and will be more likely to try it out.

I would really love to see a woman that may have been the victim of domestic abuse use it as a means to get her confidence back and ensure that those kinds of things need never happen to her again.

Who isn't.  First off its two women in the ultimate cat fight.  But I think every guys main appeal to this is the same as mine, a chick you can literally wrestle around with and not have to worry about really hurting her.  And what is the worse case, she beats you and or you end up with her in full mount!!?  Oh no, Ive fallen into your butterfly guard!  Also great point, you have to be pretty limber to be a fighter!  Besides all of the sexist stuff, they to me, also put on some of the best fights I have ever seen, hands down, and maybe at a live event we can catch a wardrobe malfunction :).

yes i would. id like to see female fighters promted. and i think thier talent and skill rating is underestimated too often.

If I am paying the 44.95 for the PPV then definetly not. I want to see athletes in peak physical condition with top notch technique fighting eachother. While a female fight might not upstage a main event, if it takes away from watching guys like Kenny Florian, Nick Diaz, Gabriel Gonzaga to name a few undercard fighters Id be really disappointed.

I suppose if it was on free tv I wouldnt have a reason to complain about watching two inexpirenced fighers, one of whom cant make weight, do what they call MMA.

Im more interested in seeing good fighting than objectifying and fantasizing about Gina Carano. I suppose the better question would be.. Would the rest of you watch women other than Gina Carano fight on tv?
