Yes, this is in response to the JRoll "frontrunners" thing, but would it affect you or change your opinion of that player if it was directed towards you and your fellow fans?

  1. I would be. Never much cared for JRoll.

  2. yea kinda

  3. I guess for a little while, I'd be offended but you get over it.  This sounds bad b/c I am a huge Phils fan and you know that, but my memory must be leaving me.  Can you refresh it on the JRoll "frontrunners" thing?

edit: woah, I must have missed this.  I'm not going to lie though, some fans are like that.  I admit, I'm like that at times but its frustrating when they don't score.  But I get over it in like five minutes and keep cheering for them.  That kind of amazes me though b/c most Phils players say that Citizens Bank Park is so electric with fans...wow, that's ok though...It'll sting me until tomorrow, then I'll be over it.  And I agree with you, just like fans are frustrated he is too....If it helps that he takes it out on us then whatever, as long as he hits, he can yell at us all he wants. ha

  4. I know Derek Jeter would never say something like that to the Yankee Fans, if any other player on the Yankees said it i would be mad

  5. Yes, I would be very insulted.  But my 2 favorite players, Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell had more class.  They would never say anything like that.

  6. Yes, but Jason Varitek would never do that!

  7. Yes, of course. That is like a dog biting the hand that feeds him.

JRoll ought to grow up and respect if not appreciate the fans

  8. actually i would be, i mean we're the ones who give him and the team support/love. There are dumb fans in every fanbase but still most of the fans do root hard for the players!

I probably wouldn't look at him the same :(

  9. I would be. The fans are the ones to show up to the ballpark and support them through it all. To insult them and take them for granted isn't showing them any thanks for anything.

  10. it really depends. If the guy was an all star, who gives a bleep. If he was a bench player, I'd be all over him. That sounds biased, but it's true. If our best player was a total ******, I wouldn't care
