I'm 15 & want to start wearing make upnot to look like a chick or anything just to look like a hotter guy.

Some guys are blessed with perfect skin but I wasn't and I want it and the girls in my area pay more attention to guys who have nice skin and no dark circles.

I've been trying for years to get my face to a point where I'm satisfied and I think make up could help me

Just foundation and powder

  1. don't do it, not because it'd be wrong for you to wear makeup, but because the foundation and powder would make your skin even worse.

You should get an acne treatment, if that is what you are looking for.

And yes, you should also get cream for the dark circles under your eyes.

  2. Don't you think it would be better to buy yourself dark circle creams? They really work, especially one from Garnier worked very well for me, and I looked like a panda :3. I used one tube for whole month and since then I have got nothing and they didn't appear again.

Talk to your parents about it. Ask if it would be ok to get you some creams and treatments because you don't feel comfortable with the way you are.

Make up can sometimes make it worse. If you pick wrong foundation it can block your pors and make your eyes tired if you going to use it on the bags.

So consider some creams. They might cost a bit, but if you get ones from Garnier, Loreal and those popular brands, effect is visable after 2,3 days and they usually don't come back after that, or they aren't so much visable :3

    Good luck!

  3. First off, my parents would flip. But you wouldn't catch my brother with makeup on either.

Just use a skin cleanser. Girls aren't attracted to super feminine guys that wear make up. They just aren't. 99.99% would perfere a guy with a few discolorations.

  4. Hmm. I wouldn't like finding out that my boyfriend wore makeup or something. It just seems strange to me. Why dont you try different face washes and everything until you're satisfied with it?

  5. does your dad love you? do your wear tight jeans?

  6. Don't do it. Then girls will make fun of you for wearing makeup.

  7. i agree with proactive, its a little expensive but it really works.

my husband wore foundation in high school cause his mom wouldnt get him acne treatment. make sure if you do to get one that matches your skin perfectly or else you will get made fun of.

  8. i wouldn't care if my son wore make-up,

or if he dressed like a girl.

so the answer to your question is yes.

  9. i wouldn't care.

  10. If you want to look like a g*y then go for it if not then I wouldn't bother about it.

  11. I don't think so! Makeup needs to be for girls only!

  12. Go to the doctor. They have meds. You don't need make up.

  13. Try acnefree. Its way more effective than proavtive.

  14. What if you were to hug someone or something, and you would get foundation or powder all over them? Then they would think that you are vain, and think that by wearing powder or whatever, you are changing your personality. You are still the same person, whether you wear makeup or not.

  15. I recommend you get proactiv instead.

I remember in high school some guys who wore makeup, they thought no one knew, but trust me, you can't see yourself in all the different lights to know for sure!

I don't recommend it, and you may never live it down!

  16. If your skin is really bad then you need to see a dermatologist.

There are creams which may or may not be effective.  Suggest scrubbing your face a couple times a week with an apricot scrub paste.  then putting on a clear moisturizer if you need one.  Watch your diet too.

Girls like guys who smell Clean...

  17. I'd be okay, but not with foundation and powder.

Why? Because usually people with foundation & powder just so obviously have them on. And if you've got any pimples, I think they just make the situation worse.

Rather than using make-up to cover the problem, try to deal with the problem itself.

At 15, if you've got problem skin (as you probably do since you're 15 and a guy) go to a dermatologist. They'll be able to

    give you special stuff.

If dark circles are a problem, try some circle reducing creams.

If still unsatisfied, buy a so-called "light pen". The best in the market is YSL Touche Eclat or Radient Touch Luminous Radiance, but it is really expensive! Check it out online and see what you can find in the drugstore, some cheaper versions are good too. A light pen will allow you to just lessen the dark circles without making you look like you've got make-up caked on.

  18. No, I wouldn't be ok with it, I didn't have perfect skin and neither do my two teenage boys, but makeup would be a mistake, instead get treatments for your eyes.

Re dark circles under your eyes, make sure you're getting enough sleep and taking vitamins, getting outside for some modest tanning might help your confidence also.  I bought some stuff one time @ CVS in the men's toiletry section that works for puffiness or darkness under the eyes, works good, but it's a lotion, not makeup.  Treatments are ok but anything that is added on like paint, makeup or concealer - not so much.

  19. I would have no problem with that at all. I do recommend that you get a good acne solution too... make up can only do so much but better skin will look amazing with make up on it too!

  20. Darl you do what you like. If you want to wear make up go ahead, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

You only have to watch movies and tv to see that make up on males is extremely acceptable in Hollywood and the likes, so i don't see anything wrong with it.

and emo kids wear make up all the time!

  21. that doesn't sound that bad. however, honestly, that seems a little g*y.

  22. I think if you wear make up you will chase the girls away even more. If you think they are avoiding you now, wait until they see you with more make up on than them! No dude, use face wash, moisturizer or something like that, not make up.

  23. yeah that sounds fine but don't pile it on

    xxxx

  24. What do you mean by nice skin?

If you have acne, make-up isn't going to help. It will just make your pimples look... weird.  For acne, use a cleanser containing either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to bed.  You can also use a pimple cream containing benzoyl peroxide (it's the best for killing acne bacteria).

Have you always had dark circles?  Get more sleep.  Make up CAN cover up dark circles, but you have to remember to wash it off and it's not an alternative for sleep.

And one last thing.  This is going to sound so gross and old school, but take cod liver oil, either the oil itself or  capsules.  It's seriously really great.  You can have clear skin, but it can look matte.  Fish oil, overtime will kind of give you a healthy glow.  And everyone I know who takes it has pretty awesome skin.

But if you really do want to use make-up, go ahead.  Some people will be able to tell though... There's a boy at my school who wears make-up to cover flaws, and some kids aren't nice about it and call him g*y, but I think if you do it nicely with a mineral make-up (usually more expensive, but it looks more natural than liquid make-ups and it's much lighter) you will be okay.  But be prepared for suspections.

Lol. I'd be okay with my kid wearing make-up if I had one.  We all have our insecurities.

  25. Heya

No i would not be happy if my son wore makeup. Neither would i be attracted to a guy that wore any makeup. I would rather date a guy with a few spots and dark patches than a guy who wore makeup defo. Try some skin treatments instead from the chemist or something. Be happy with who you are. Girls shouldnt be bothered about your skin but you as a person

    =] x*x

  26. Hi,

I wouldnt have a problem with it only if you are using it to cover up your blemishes, pimples etc. I wouldnt let my friend know about it though. Do what you want, there is only one life.

If you are trying to get rid of pimples, you should use proactive. Until it gets at your home then, I would say use proactive.

    Good Luck.

  27. I dont think thats right.. if my boyfend wore makeup id be discusted
