  1. My hours have been cut to 4 days due to horrible economy.

So I make less, it sucks!!

  2. Been there, done that.  worked 4/10s this past year.... saves a days gas, or 90 miles

  3. Another option is what's called a 9/80 - working 80 hours in 9 days...The schedule is 9 hrs/day for 8 days, then 6 hrs the last day - usually a Friday...Every other week, Friday is an off day...This can also be set up with a 'split' work force meaning that the schedule provides for coverage throughout the 2 week period.

One other popular choice is 'tele-commuting' or work from home...Bundles is saved on fuel in this arrangement...Both scenarios are very popular with the staff.

  4. from an employers perspective

if they work the same amount

    it is great

    everybody wins

more productivity for employer.....(less overhead time)

and less moeny on gas for the employee

    good idea

wont be well accpeted by the public

  5. idk my bff rosed

  6. It would save gas only if you don't do any driving on the day your off of work. If you spend more time driving because you are off work, then that won't change a thing.
