We've all heard about the moral implications of "playing God," but if we have the power to clone organs and sheep, shouldn't we be using this technology to replace some of the endangered species? And if we have any DNA in a lab somewhere of extinct animals, why not some of them too?

  1. i guess

  2. If it's going to save endangered species, I'm all for it.

  3. i wouldn't be opposed to cloning if it helped save endangered species... after all alot of them are dying because of growing human burdens. therefore this isn't about evolution. it more about the effect of human activities on these animals. if we are to study and learn about our past and possibly where we're heading, studying these animals is crucial. Therefore it their survival is also crucial for us. if u have taken ecology you would know that all organisms work together for the benefit of the larger earth. therefore when u subtract a few of these animals... it could ruin the whole chain.

  4. No

There would not be enough genetic diversity for the species to sustain itself for long anyway.

  5. Its ok if the species cannot be multiplies naturally. I think that animals like Royal Bengal Tiger, pandas which dont reproduce easily should be cloned.

  6. No.  It is dangerous and reckless.  Nothing can be cloned 100%.  There are too many risks involved.
