  1. Shush!! Don't tell Noami Campbell!!! She would rip you from limb to limb to get her luggage back!!!!

  2. There's a great big shop in Scottsboro, Alabama (US) which specialises in unclaimed and lost luggage, they buy in consignments from airlines around the world - they've always auctioned off lost and unclaimed baggage in the UK! the press have just jumped on the story because of T5!

  3. This is ridiculous.

I hope people start to deliberately abandon luggage, and fill it full of snakes or p**p just to trick the morons buying other people's luggage.  While they're hoping for a small treasure, they will get a nightmare.

    LOL

  4. I would bid for Naomi Campbells lost luggage, that would be nice.

Oh hang on, I'd need to lose a stone or two to fit in it!

  5. What else are the airlines supposed to do with lost luggage. If the identifying labels have become detached from the bag and there is nothing inside the suitcase to identify the owner, then all they can do is hold onto it for 100 days. If the rightful owner doesn't come forward then they have to get rid of it because they couldn't store items indefinitely. Anyone who loses a bag in transit can always claim for the loss on their travel insurance.

Ideally bags and belongings wouldn't get lost but these things happen.

  6. what does BA stand for

    bloody awful

  7. OMG Can you imagine the stink of someones dirty washing being stuck in a case for 100 days, it will go mouldy, yuk!

  8. That's probably what happens to ones that can never be traced back to their owners. I've lost bags before but they've always been returned after a few days. KLM lost one when I went to Amsterdam and I got it back the following evening (after it had been to either Boston or China on the wrong plane). They delivered it to the hotel. BA left most of ours in France the once and they came back a few days later (after they'd been to Heathrow, Glasgow then back to Birmingham).
