  1. d**n right I would. Could do with a load of Gene Hunt clones around to rid us of the scumbags on our streets now.

  2. its a pity they wont do it your way!! too afraid of upsetting the criminals!!

  3. Yes why not. Cant possibly make it any worse.

  4. If it meant my family was safe then yes i would Christ i'd probably help them!

  5. It works for me. The target the above person speaks of are those that need to be targeted.

  6. No I wouldn't. But I have a better idea. How about we fight crime with Mariachi music? Works in Mexican restaurants; Mariachi appears and you eat up quick fast and run for your life!

  7. The good old fashioned way wasn't always effective. If you were smartly dressed in a suit you'd get away with a lot more than someone with long hair wearing bell bottoms. It's like bringing back the boot camps, hardened thugs had an easy time in there compared to some petty criminal, I've seen it, I was in one. They might have put off some youngster who'd made a silly mistake, but all they did to the real thugs was make them tougher.

  8. Absolutely!

  9. I would do more than that my friend, I would even step in and help them clear the streets of scumbags if I thought it would do any good.

  10. wouldn`t look the other way...would want to be helping the police as would many other fed up UK citizens

  11. I am not a criminal, I have nothing to fear from the police. I pay taxes which pay for the police force that should protect me.

I wouldn't look the other way I would counter sign the officers pocket book to state events were exactly as they described.

I personally don't care how the job is done and if they have to break a few bones doing it - so be it.

  12. Yep well this is all wonderful in theory, but the problem is that the police are not necessarily the arbiters of morality, ethics and good judgment. If they were allowed to practice as vigilantes then whose to say who they could target...

They may decide certain races needed the cr*p belted out of them...

    They may target homosexuals...

They may decide to target people you know and love...

This is why there are laws put in place to protect the rights of the innocent. True they don't always do a good job of protecting people, but the alternative (in my opinion) is far worse...

You only need to look at countries where there is a police or military state to realise what can occur.
