  1. I use to always ride my bike to work, but if it was thunder and lighting i would drive.

  2. No I wouldn't.

Because I work on an oil rig.

  3. I do ride when the weather allows, that's been twice this year and I got wet on the way home one of those times!

  4. I guess so, but right now I walk and I don't think the extra expense of a bike and the hassle of parking it would be worth giving up my shoe leather express.

  5. Yes but not in wind and or rain. So not very often in UK this summer.

  6. I would love to ride but its 9 miles and dont think i would be in a fit state when i got there also it would take too long have to leave when children leave for school only gives me 15 mins to get there and same coming home.

  7. I prefer to use a bike anytime i can..I get great exercise ,,Keeps the body in good shape..Get there faster..

  8. I would have been quite happy to do so but my route would have taken me over a distance of 4 miles with very heavy dock traffic on at times fairly narrow pot holed roads. No thank you I am not into suicide

  9. In my old job, i always cycled to work.

Now I work 30 miles from home, and for me to cycle and get the train would take 2 hours each way and cost £18.50 a day. (clearly ridiculous)

Rather than in the car, which costs about £8 in petrol and takes 40 minutes.

I'd love to go back to cycling and use the train for the main leg, but it's impossible, both time and money-wise.
