If they were only 18 months old, and it was only the second time. Or would you "not walk down the street holding that," and decide to take it when you could get a lift?

  13. my cat got sick in my work sketch once,  it was a proud moment indeed...

  14. Any Mom who is not proud of her children's art work is not a very good Mom.  I still have some of my children's first attempts at art work and my youngest is 33.  I also treasure the pictures my grandchildren have drawn just for Grandma.

  15. I have framed my eldest's first painting (he's 23 now and a web designer) and if you look at it kinda sideways it almost looks like a man in a spacesuit !, but maybe that's the mum in me wanting to see a thing of beauty in a truly chaotic work of art. I loved it at the time (he was 1 yr old) and would have walked down the road telling everyone I met 'look - isn't this just fantastic !!!'

  16. strange question - but to answer the first part - I was proud of every piece of work my children/grandchildren did. I am proud of them in all ways

  25. I still have the picture my son drew of me when he was just 3. It has pride of place on my landing wall!

I might wait before walking down the street with it if it was raining hard and it would get spoiled but that would be the only reason, so sad.

  26. If I had children, I would probably clutch my chest and well up with pride and then fall on the floor.

  27. I would proudly take it with me and I would most likely stop everyone I saw just to show them how wonderful the painting was. You should see my kitchen......it has been completely re-decorated in pictures my Daughter has done for me.

  28. I would be very proud  and touched.

  29. I would never refuse to carry one of my children's paintings, especially one done by such a small child. I would be proud and encouraging. We have a wall in our back room devoted to the kids pictures, they may not be Picasso's but they are still something to be proud of!

  30. Of course I would be proud!  My parents always adored my artwork.  I'm 19 now and my dad still has pictures I drew/painted for him when I was a toddler hanging in his office!  : )
