Major figures in Portuguese criminal investigations have the right to be given arguidos status for their own protection. This means such individuals have access to relevant evidence against them et cetera.

Would you be "relieved" to lose such protections if you had them?

  1. What has annoyed me about this case is!The attention has been focused on the Parents and Robert Murat instead of findind poor liitle Madeleine!

According to reports if I have read them properly! They are scaling down their operations! How can they do this? When the little girl has not been found!

To put it mildly!I feel very sorry for the parents!

  2. I agree with Robert C - we public seem to have lost sight of the fact that a little girl is still missing and her family must be going thro h**l. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the parents eating at the bar that evening, no-one deserves to be going through the agony they are. I doubt any of us can criticise them as much as they will probably be criticising themselves.

May all our prayers be with Madeline and her family
