I think he likes it in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. He will be at high price but I think he will be willing to work something out with the Brewers to satisfy his wallet.

  1. It depends if they decide to open up the checkbook, and if they want sheets or CC. (since I don't think they can keep both)

Honestly, as much as it pains me to say this (as a mets fan), the Yankees seem like a perfect fit for CC and since they have so much $ coming off the books, they will make a big push for him (and boras)

  2. I think it'll take a lot of money especially after the way he's turned it around after an awful start to the season with the Indians.  He likes to hit so I'd expect him to stay in the NL and the Brewers are basically debating between keeping Sheets or Sabathia for the longrun, but I see them keeping Sabathia.

  3. Milwaukee has embraced C.C and I think Sabathia appreciates that.

With all this 'Manny' c**p, C.C. taking out a full page ad in the Cleveland Plain Dealer thanking the fans for his years there got practically no press. What a classy thing to do. You always hear about Jeter being a class act...F**K Jeter!!! He is a media prostitute. C.C is REAL CLASS!!!

I still dont think the Brewers will be able to afford him in '09 though.

  4. Yes. I would be more shocked if he goes back to the AL though. I think he could be very dominant for years in the NL.

  5. No, I definitely wouldn't be shocked. He has had very good success so far with the Brew Crew and they are going to try to lock him up for a while, especially if they lose Ace Ben Sheets.

  6. I wouldnt be shocked if he stuck around. Depending on who they keep/lose, they'll be legitimate contenders next year. The Angels wont have any money if they sign Teixera.

  7. I think that CC will ask for too much $, plain and simple.

  8. I would be shocked if he decided to take less money to stay.  CC is from the West Coast, so I think he'll end up with the Dodgers or Angels.  They'll have the money to throw at him.

  9. Yes, I'd be shocked. Don't think the Brew Crew can compete with the money the Yankees, Dodgers or Angels will be dangling. Those teams are serious contenders for a Championship...something CC will desire.

  10. I would be very shocked if he stayed in Milwaukee because they can't afford what he's going to want so he'd have to take a big pay cut to stay. I think they have a better chance at resigning Sheets then they do of resigning Sabathia.  I honestly think they're both gone at the end of the year though.
