Would you be shot down if you fly between skyscrapers?

if you fly your plane through a city like new york really fast, dodging around buildings and do some cool stunts would they get the airforce to shoot you down?

You'd be arrested though after you land.

And planes don't fly like they do in the movies.  You would not be able to dodge in and out of buildings.  Its just not possible.  You'd probably smack straight into the first building you came to and leave a nice dark smudge on its side that someone would have to go wash off.  Your little prank would earn you the honor of being cleaned off the side of a building with a squeegie.

they would get them to follow you and if need be you could get shot down. But odds are they would get to you before you even got there. And they would only shoot you down if they had to so you wouldent go down in the middle of the street.

once you vectored off of your original flight plan ..alarms would go off..they,d scramble a couple of interceptors..check to see if you were actively transmitting from your flight transponder..then strategic air command would have the final say on wether or not to engage your aircraft.

Not unless you also flew into restricted air space. But you would certainly be arrested, and depending on the details of your flight you could be in jail for quite some time.

I don't think they will shoot you down while you are flying in the city, cos they don't want anyone on the ground to get hurt... but if you then fly out of the city...they may...if they think you gonna do that stunt again...

i think it is technically very difficult for the air force to shoot down anyone flying at low altitute among sky scrapers...

The Air Force probably wouldn't shoot you down while you were doing it - but when you landed, very angry people in Chevy Tahoes with blackened windows would be there to greet your airplane.

I would presume you would be tossed out of the aircraft onto the tarmac, and then you will be handcuffed and taken away never to see the inside of an airplane again.

So, I would suggest you keep your fantasy flying to MS FS and not try that stunt in the 3D world.
