if the Cubs won the central division this year. I would, here's why. Compare the Cubs road record with the other two contenders in that division. The Brewers are one game under five-hundred on the road while the Cardinals are over five-hundred on the road. In September the Cubs play more road games than any other team. The Cubs had the more home games in the first half than either the Cardinals or the Brewers, but now that the Cubs finally have road games coming at them, I see them faltering. I think they'll that they will still make the wild card though.

What do you guy's think, will the Cubs win the Central.

Oh yeah, and the Brewers have cut the lead down to two games in the Central after once being down by 8 games, that seems kinda familar doesn't it, only flip-flopped. Maybe Brewers fans should start bringing signs to the games saying "We Believe"

  1. i still think the cubs are going to win the world series...maybe it's partly because of the karma, but i think when soriano returns that offense is going to come alive, and i think rich harden is a big boost to that rotation...when the cubs get fully healthy they are going to be a hard team to deal with, imo it's just a matter of time before they get really hot and start to pull away with that division

  2. I'm not completely sold on the Cubs, although if Rich Harden stays healthy I think they hang on to the division lead. The Cardinals play inspired baseball...and Sabathia was a huge pickup for the Brewers. They (Brewers) recently just traded to sure up 2nd base with Ray Durham, who has playoff experience....something the Brew Crew needs...

I think the Cards will fade a little and the Cubs will beat the Brewers out by 2 games for the Division! The NL playoffs will be wiiiiiiiiiide open! I don't see a dominating team in that league!

  3. Cubs will lose lead and go to 3rd and either the Brewers or Cards will win the central or wild card.

  4. The Cubs will win the central division this year, but I don't see a world series, yet. I think they will win one within the next 5 years.

  5. I would be shocked cause a good team needs to be good on the road and home the Cards and the Brew Crew have adjusted to the road and stilll are good at home and the Cubs are horrible on the road. So Im going to say that the win will either go to the Cards or Brewers and the wild card will go to the Cubs, Cards, or Brewers (whichever doesn't win).

EDIT: For the Cardinals and the Brewers whoever comes to win the series will probably take out the Cubs afterwards. But for right now they are tied for 2nd.
