For an april fools joke, someone deflated tires of 100 random cars and left a note on there car saying drive less. They were obivously trying to make a statement about the enviroment. I am totally for saving our planet, but I think picking random cars to violate is just wrong! Think of all the tow trucks who had to hall cars to the gas station.....they aren't eco friendly!

  1. It was counter-productive.

The tires on those 100 cars had top be refilled with air.  It takes air from a compressor to refill them.  The compressor uses electricity.  Electricity that would have been saved, had they not let the air out of the tires.

  2. Upset about the issue , would be an understatement . I would skin them if i would know who it was .

    with regards

  3. YEAH. I would be quite pissed. There are other ways to make a statement about the environment.

  4. yes

  5. I think we all should get behind our government and tell them they are cleaner ways to to run a car.  The "World's Cleanest Car" that runs on compressed air is here.

"BBC News is reporting that a French company has developed a pollution-free car which runs on compressed air. India's Tata Motors has the car under production and it may be on sale in Europe and India by the end of the year.

The air car, also known as the Mini-CAT or City Cat, can be refueled in minutes from an air compressor at specially equipped gas stations and can go 200 km on a 1.5 euro fill-up -- roughly 125 miles for $3. The top speed will be almost 70 mph and the cost of the vehicle as low as $7000.

The car features a fibreglass body and a revolutionary electrical system and is completely computer-controlled. It is powered by the expansion of compressed air, using no combustion at all, and the exhaust is entirely clean and cool enough for use in the internal air conditioning system."

  6. upset is putting it mildly

    murderous maybe a better description.

  7. Yes if I found out who it was Id Do A h**l OF ALOT WORSE TO HIS WHAT EVER

  8. silly  jape or misguided person? either way it  wont help at all. it  will make motorists angry and less likely to listen to any arguments for using a car less.

it also has the poor effect on the environment by having to use energy to refill all those tyres thus adding to environmental issues. self defeating and not a correct and engaging way to get people involved with  using cars less and reducing climate changes.

  9. h**l yeah......i would be so pissed. i dont care if you do a prank on me just dont F*ck w/my car

  10. Someone let all the air out of my tires on my bike at school because it was a hot day and some tires were exploding.   I'm still peeved about that since I had to push it 5 miles home.   They could have just let out a little so it wouldn't explode, or none since I had put it in the shade.    On cars, I guess it's better than slashing them.

  11. d**n straight I would be pissed and if I seen anyone doing it to my vehicle or someone else's I'd pound the air from there lungs
