Would you attend an event in your state capital to fight for childrens rights?

We the survivors of child abuse are planning to rally on all of our states capitals on a specific date(TBA) to fight for children and victims rights, we plan on this being a fun filled day with entertainment. You may not have been directly effected by child abuse but I can almost bet that someone you are very close to has been abused in some way...

  1. This may sound really dumb, but i thought protecting childrens rights was the one things our governments are doing right. a march for more funding yes!, a march for better awareness yes!!, but there rights and support once it has been found out they are being abused is pretty good isnt it.

And if i am wrong i am trully sorry, i dont want anyone who has been through that kind of situation thinking i am belittling there plight.  but i trully dont think there rights are being let down.

  2. Marching = Symbolism and no substance!

It makes you feel good about yourself even though nothing is truly being done to help abused children. I say forget the march and do something constructive that actually will help abused children. Spend your time as a Big Brother or volunteer as a foster parent.
