Currently everyone who works pays about 1 1/2% of their paycheck to pay for Medicare, that is matched by the employer. That is going to at least triple to pay for the remainder of healthcare. If you are in the highest tax bracket you will be paying about 45% of your pretax salary to the government.

  1. No, why would I want to pay MY hard earned money for some STRANGER'S health care???

  2. Of course not.  One of the reasons I continue to work is so I continue to get health care coverage.  It is and always has been and always should be a reason to go out and work for a living.

We have raised a generation that is addicted to the government for free money to live on - welfare, food stamps, unemployment, subsidized housing, free or subsidized school lunches, yadda, yadda.  Sure, some of that is needed by a few people at least temporarily until they can get back on their feet.  But is has become a way of life and we actually have people in their 40's who have NEVER had a job in their lives!!  Now some want to encourage even more people to not work by providing everybody the same level of health care too.  Talk to anybody who has actually ever lived in a country that has socialized their medical care - it is not what the lying proponents say it would be.

  3. No. Health care is a priviledge, not a right. This is not what the founding fathers had in mind; a nanny state that takes care of everyone. That's not what made America great.

  4. No I wouldn't !!!

I'm not a fan of Universal Health care. Check out other countries that have Universal HC. You have to wait months for Doctors appointments.

Need Cancer treatment?? Get in line...

Got a broken arm?? Bring your sleeping bag to the ER with ya.

Universal Health care sound good, until it's put in place.

Does anybody really want our Government in charge of our Health Care system?

  5. Your math is way off.

  6. Absolutely NO. I also believe any one who draws welfare should have to take a Urine test in order to recieve benefits....
