If you didn't know if she was using protection or not, you knew who it was with but didn't really know alot about them, would you be worried aswell?

  1. yes extremely but then what could i do it's legal in the UK other than teach her from a young age to be responsible and always think about her decisions BEFORE she puts them into action.

  2. deff speak to her about protection. i wouldnt be worried if i felt she was loved by the man and not being taken for a ride / being pushed into it. be careful what/how much you say, because whatever you say, teenagers usually do the opposite! let her know thats its not a big problem for you if she is using protection, but express how important this is. also let her know that you'd like to get to know the man better.

    good luck! x*x

  3. TALK TO HER. Dont yell at her. I wish my mother would have talked to me at 16 or 17. You probably wont get her to stop doing it, but you an take her to get birth  control.. try the depro vera, a shot, once a month or once every 3 months.. not sure. But TALK TO HER in a non aggressive way. Like I said, I wish my mother would have offered me birth control options. Condoms only work if the guy is smart and we all know this day and age that sexually smart young boys are rare! (hence all the pregnant teens) But talk to her!!!!

  4. um... yes! 16 year olds (or any teenager for that matter) should not be having s*x! They are way too young! There's so much risk...What if something should happen and she becomes pregnant? There's just so much else they could be doing...

  5. go put her on the pill or get her the shot.talk to her about safe s*x and about the different diseases she can catch.Kids are starting much younger these days.Mine is 14 and I know about it.but she was being honest with me.

  6. Yeah i think i would, but there has to come a point where you have to let go of a child and stop being so protective.  At 16 she may be old enough and mature enough to make her own choices, and afterall it is legal to have s*x at 16 in the UK.

I would try talking to her about it, or leave her a note or something so it's less embarrssing for her.

  7. YES. are children are our most tresured things in life and we feel the need to proteced them but all you can do is try to make sure they are safe and know all the dangers .but if you say no they will do it anyway but feel they carn`t confied in you if something does go wrong...

  8. A Little, maybe trying to talk about this subject with her even if it feels incomftable!

  9. Yes worry you need to check she is using protection. I would cut to the chase and ask her directly, remain calm and treat her like as adult,  explain why you are worried but acknowledge it's her life and her decision.

As children grow up you lose them as they are less dependent and need you less and less as the days go on. But, you must let them grow and put your own feelings of loss aside.

  10. Yes I would, but I would also have to have a talk with her about it, even though it's a very uncomfortable and uneasy conversation.  The bottom line is more than likely she's going to do it and there's nothing that you can do to prevent her from doing so. As a parent all you can do is make sure that you have given her the knowledge of her to protect herself from STD's and pregnancy!! Best of luck with it!!

  11. um...YEEEEAAAAHHH. guess who gotto keep it if she gets pregnant!!! Put ur foot down and let her know you dont stand for foolishness and let her learn t wait for that special person instead of following the crowd.

  12. As a father of two girls, I would be very worried and I would find out what was going on

  13. Yes i would,im not a parent but i would be worried if i had a daughter.Girls are getting pregnant as young as 14 these days and its quite common now. They become mothers before they even have a chance to think about the rest of thier lives
