  3. i will try to take them seriously and help them out but in reallity i will not believe them .......but wat if they r telling the truth ??

  4. yes i do we just kinda let them go along unless they want to talk about it

  5. No I don't believe in the paranormal.  But I do believe that children have vivid imaginations.  I would tell my child that I understand things that are not there may seem real in their mind but that their mind can sometimes play tricks on them.  Perhaps they have an imaginary friend.

The Bible does not say anything about spirits wandering the earth and human souls go to one of two places after the body dies: Heaven or h**l.  There is no in between or purgatory.  The only things that are on this earth that are "supernatural" are demons and angels.  I would believe my child if they said they saw an angel because an angel is not a human soul, nor is a demon.  But demons only manifest themselves if you invite them into your home.  It is also believed that demons can take on the form of family members or people who have passed on.  Satan and his angels are all about deception.  But if my child continued to see "spirits" I would look into some therapy for my child.

  6. NO! I believe children have a vivid imagination.

  7. My kids have seen monsters, giant spiders, and Tigger (from Winnie-the-Pooh).

No, I wouldn't believe they saw spirits, and no, I don't believe in the paranormal.

  8. Yes, i would believe her. he has told me many times about a little boy named Caiden who follows her around. she will tell me that he is nice but he cant get any bigger because he has a penny stuck in his throat. he has always talked to someone or something at her grandmas house and if you ask her who it is or where they are she will tell you a name and say well you cant seee him and then will point to where he is.

  9. First, I would not dismiss their statement or tell them they didn't really see anything. Whether it was a spirit or entity or a figment of their imagination,  I would acknowledge that they saw something that was real to them.  If they seemed upset or worried about it, I would encourage them to voice their fears and I would try to calm them down.  If it became a regular thing, I might consider whether there is something going on in their minds, such as a mental illness or trauma.

If it didn't seem to bother them, I would simply accept what they said and not make too much of it.

When my son was four, he said that God whispered something to him, but he couldn't remember what it was.  I just told him that it was good that God talked to him and maybe he would hear it more clearly next time.  He never mentioned it again.   When my daughter was a baby, she would stare into empty space with so much concentration that I was sure she saw something there.

I'm a pretty rational person, and I've had my share of doubts when it comes to the spiritual or the supernatural, but I would never claim those things don't exist.  You never know.

  10. I'm not a big fan or don't believe much, but all I know is that kids can see things.. I remember my now 3yr old boy , when he was about 9 months an uncle passed away so we went to Houston TX, few months later  to visit my aunt we at that time slept in my aunt & uncle room because it was the only room with a big bed. At nigth around 12 my baby woke up for his bottle and I turn a little ligth all of a sudden he started crying so loud I got scared so I quickly hugh him and try to calm him down until he fall asleep, but didn't put much attention, so the following day the same thing happen around the same time, my hubby and I freaked out.. So the following night we stays awake until passed 12 with the TV & ligth on and did a little prayer and nothing happened that day. So we didn't know what to think.. almost 2 yrs later we went back again to visit and stay in the same room and now we had another baby plus our 2 yr old and the same thing happened my 2 yr old wake up crying and so as my baby girl.. After that we decide not to sleep in that room anymore, cuz maybe they were seeing someone that migth scared them.. So I guess it could happened !!!

  11. I think children are especially sensitive to the great beyond because they are so open to those experiences and have such pure hearts. I am not sure about the paranormal because i've never experienced anything like that, but i dont rule it completely out. i would definitely listen to my child if they believed they were seeing spirits.

  12. I don't believe in ghosts which is defined as the paranormal spirit or soul of a dead person.  However I do believe in angels and demons.  I would take it very seriously if my daughter told me she saw a ghost and I would try to figure out exactly what she saw.

Kids DO like to play pranks... but if there is any sign of fear in the child's voice or facial expressions the issue needs to be dealt with.  If the child is telling the truth and Mama and Daddy ignore it - that could make the child weary of his or her parents lack of protection.

  13. My oldest son used to tell me that Grandma tucked him in sometimes after we put him to bed.  She and him were very close and she died when he was quite young!  I just let him go with it!

  14. Now your child could be telling the truth as there is no paranormal proof. But also your child could be making things up, like an imaginery friend...it depends how old your child is. I would respect their views by not saying that the child is silly and seeing things...this colud be as simple as a shadow in the night, its easily mistaken, like from my experiences as a little kid!!

  15. absolutely.  whether it be dead family members, angels or something scarier, I believe children naturally have the ability to see things adults do not.  The reason is that their young minds have not become prejudiced to other levels of thinking and other realms.  They are innocent and pure and are not yet blocking other possibilities out.  Also, I believe babies' souls were in a higher place before birth, and as young children have not completely lost that contact.  We lose that ability as we age because we are taught that it is silly or crazy to see spirits.  Obviously, if you believe in ANY type of spirit, religion, or life after death, that means there IS something out there.  I believe children are the only ones with a mind open and pure enough to experience most of it.
