  1. Yes, if I had the money and didn't live in Jersey.  It's been in the 90s up here...

Then the Devils can host their practices in my backyard for free :)

  2. I'd host it...you build and maintain it.

  3. DUH i am hockey fanatic and i build a rink every winter, in my back yard :P if it was NHL sized i would invite the toronto maple leafs over, please i know i said the maple leafs no booing!

  4. It would be cool but i don't think it would stay frozen and also i can't ice skate.

  5. most definately!!!!!   :-)

  6. yes i would

  7. Heck yes!  Then I would invite the Red Wings over to come play on it!

  8. sure! as long as the cost to keep the ice frozen was not terrible! it would be fun! me and my friends could play hoackey in the middle of the summer! but i would need some way to keep the sun from melting it.

  9. we have one in our backyard.  It doesnt have stands or anything but it's regulation size.

That's why minnesota is awesome haha, if you have a hose you can have a rink come november

  10. yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ill invite a few pros over too play!

  11. yes but you would have to have alot of money because you would have to frezze it dig keep it frozen and with gas going up i would probably say no.

  12. I would like to but down here in South Florida keeping it frozen would be a bit tough. Right now it is 100 outside.

  13. Absolutely 100% without a doubt. I would even go out on a limb and say if I had the room I would even go for a half Ice rink, just so i could strap on the pads and face some shots once again..

  14. yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  15. hellz yea then i would make it look just like HSBC arenia

also u should get something to cool the ice so u can play in the summer

  16. I'd probably build a soccer field first since it's pretty hot where I live, I couldn't afford to keep up the ice.

  17. yes i would but the ice would melt

  18. If I had the money I would buy a barn close by and convert it into a hockey arena instead. It gets quite hot in the GTA in the summer and there is no way that the ice wouldn't melt.

  19. I've been trying for years Bill. But when I stand on the high side and try to fill it with water it all rushes downhill.

I sure wish I could figure out the secret.

  20. I can't skate for sh*t but I would definiely build one. I also know this guy that lives a few blocks down from me, his name is Sidney, and maybe he can come over and give me some pointers.

  21. heck yes! that way i wouldnt have to actually change out of my pjs to practice :)

  22. If any hockey fan says no to this question they are not a hockey fan. My rink would have the best hockey logo ito world(see link below) in its center circle. I would have glass boards. Wooden Benches. A homemade Zamboni and a scoreboard.

  23. No because I could never get it to freeze here in Arizona.

  24. if I didnt live in NJ then definitely....it would be even better if i could convert it to a roller rink in the non winter months

  25. oh yea, I live in atlanta so it would be a huge pool
