Question:

Would you buy a Chinese car?

It seems that every thing made in china is rubbish, even a tooth pick from china would be sub standard. Imagine taking 10,000 low quality components and putting them together to make a car.I certainly would not accept a chinese car as a gift, let alone part with any money for one.

  1. So why ask the question?

  2. No i would not buy a Chinese made car check out the videos on You tube to  see just how unsafe they are. They are probably painted with lead paint.

  3. Not yet, but I remember the first Japanese cars. They were unreliable, low quality and generally older design. I would not rule out the possibility that Chinese cars improve over the next couple of decades to the point where they are quality options.

  4. NO!

  5. yes i would,as with all things, you get what you pay for,the chinese manufacturers have a sliding scale for quality, the more you pay the better the quality, their best quality is as good as any other, and considerably cheaper, but if you don't ask them to up the quality ,they won' t---so, if you buy the right model, you get a good deal

  6. Not until they improve build quality and safety.

  7. No way, I don't feel like dying.

I wonder if they come with those little gold stickers that say "made in china".

  8. That's just what they said about Japanese cars in the 1960s and 70s, and Korean cars in the 90s.

Given that your 'German' car these days is made in Mexico or the Philippines or Spain, and your Japanese stereo is already made in China, why not just judge the car on its merits?  You are able to do that aren't you, I mean, you're not one of these idiots that needs a brand or country of origin to take the place of actual discernment skills?  Phew, good.

By the way, in Australia the off-road vehicles with the poorest reputations for reliability are.... American.

  9. h**l no.  I'll stick with Japanese cars.

  10. Given their human rights record, i would not buy chinese anything.Products of slave labour do nothing for me.

Imagine your savings if you stopped buying products from china....more room in our homes and more space in the garbage dumps.

  11. I would buy a toyota camery thay are reliable and get good gas mileage
