I have an older car and should replace it. So far, this one appears to be a good replacement for as long as I'm not stuck with a lemon. And, honestly, I would prefer to buy an American-made car so I can at least make the attempt to keep people in this country working.

  3. yep the g6 is a great car

  4. i wouldnt go with a g6. i was looking at them before, they have NO legroom in the back at all. if your looking for some good on gas or looks cool car you should go with a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, 2008 Chevrolet Malibu....here are two muscley cars that get like  15-18 miles to the gallon...2006 Pontiac GTO or a 2009 Pontiac G8

  5. Yes i just rented this car and drove it from california to wisconsin it handles beautifully and it has an amazing amount of power  and throttle response and the interior is extremely comfortable plus it got around 34 mpg and if that's not enough to sell you on the car it has an awesome body style in my opinion this it pontiac's best car since the 1966 GTO!!!!!!!!!

  6. no.

same size, american brand cars, i'd look at the malibu or fusion... however, in that size the camry, accord and altima are built in the US as well by american workers.  and all of them rate higher in reliability and driveability than the G6.

  7. Last time I bought a new car I spent months shopping for it.I would go to a dealer tell him what I wanted get his best price(in writing) and then go to  other dealers show them the price of the last guy and see if they would make a better deal.Every were I went I did this, when I was traveling out of state I would stop and talk to the local dealer get his price and get him to document it in writing. When I finally went back to my local dealer I had knocked so much off the price the first sales guy told me they could not match the price, after speaking with the manager and getting a several bad looks I made my purchase.

  8. Yes just did, ordered one of the last '08's from the factory in Lake Orion in June, followed it's progress, and to get to where I live it was $35,000.  Worth every penny, feels like a $75 - $100,000 performance, luxury sports car, actually similar in so many ways to Ferrari, the 2 door GT is highly unique and draws praise from professionals in the mechanical, auto-body, accessorizing, tinting, detailing, racing industry.  See Rolex Grand Am GT Series Racing.
