If the house was an average size 2 bedroom home but was a real fixer-upper. You look at it and most of what you see are problems to be fixed, but it has a nice big, fenced yard, at least 1.5 acres?

  1. If you have extra money to fix the house and the house you wanted to buy is a good deal- I will definitely go with that, because you can make the changes to the house the way you wanted .

  2. Yes.  Some houses are on land that is worth almost the price of the house and land together.  /

  3. Yes, If I loved it and it was in a good location and a good neighborhood to go walking, etc.

  4. If the price is right -- I'm a romantic. However, I don't get high on lots of property.

  5. it depends on what needed fixing upping. ;)

wet or weak floors, foundation, electrical, plumbing, no foundation,

    termites....

    no thank you,

but the big lot if it is urban is definitely a selling point to me.

  6. I think that it'll be worth every penny when you're done with the house and are completely satisfied by the way it looks. All the hard work will pay off. Good luck.

  7. Yes. I did.. AS long it's live in condition and you have it inspected by a really good inspector. Mine was c**p..  The land is all area you can do stuff with. I have plans for a pool and a great out door area.

  8. Location, Location, Location are the 3 most important things in real estate.
