I'm entering a contest for a department store to design a basic t-shirt(Nothing fancy, aside from the actual design on the shirt.)

The theme is Florida conservation so I picked the ocean. I was thinking what people (well girls) like on there clothes. I personally like classy girls or people on my shirts. So I thought I do a mermaid or an octogirl with a cute message like "Be good to the ocean" or something like that.

Woud you buy something like that? What do you like on your shirts? Do you have a better idea or message?

Thank you very much :)

  1. sounds kinda cool!

  2. Yes, I would purchase one. I prefer witty sayings or eye catching graphics. I don't know if my idea is any better, but you could work yours some more. For example use more realistic characters instead of mythical. Your cute message idea might work for the department store, simple is sometimes the best. Good luck.

  3. I think it is a good idea for the Mermaid but change the "be good to the ocean," it is kinda .... generic, not original

  4. Bad idea. Very lame, honey.  People who support conservation want to see wildlife on their shirts. Colorful sea anemones, fish, coral, etc. Or Everglades wildlife, or endangered species. Or else a compelling message like the number of species that have gone extinct and what we have to do to save some that are left.

  5. cute but needs to be more focused on the aspect of conservation. I would do a cute bird with a plastic soda ring around his neck and he's saying "don't hurt me"  i know thats random...
