Say I had a business selling electric cars with in-garage chargers and outdoor protective extension leads (could be locked so they cannot be stolen), lets say the power for your home was done via Solar and Wind, and that it did not take long to charge your car, around 3 hours. Lets also say the car looked like a stunner, and was also very cheap, a small car with 2-4 seats standard was £3,500 and a 5+ seater was £5,000, and you gave it a test go, and it was really slick and relaxing with the maximum speed of 95mph and a mile range of 650. Lets also say the acceleration speed was the same as your normal oil/gas car and that a breakdown service was available world-wide.

Would you buy it?

  2. yes i would becuase it would help the enviroment when you are transporting, and that car sounds fun to ride in!

  3. Of course.

  4. YES! I am all for alternative energy (one of my relatives is in solar)! If it was a good price, didn't take long to charge, and had plug-in stations available, YES.

  5. Only if you could make it tow 18,000 lb. if not I'll keep the Deep, Black, Diesel smoke of my pick-up rolling.

  6. I'd be foolish not to.

Shame one doesn't exist yet, in the mass market.

Too many promises by companies, and not enough deliveries.
