I'm just asking this becasue I was wondering thru a Philipines food shop today and looking at some of the stuff and its stuff you don't se in normal supermarkets. How do you know if they have gone thru the same proceudres as other foods?

I know I buy stuff from European shops, but that's because I know of thei high standards and I see the stuff in shops like Woolworths and Coles.

I;m sorry f it sounds racist, I'm not trying to be racist, just curious and concerned? Thanks

  1. hmm, about Philippine food, first i have a trivia for you... Filipino's are so into foods, that every part of the Philippine island has its unique delicacy... If you wanna be a racist then I suggest that you try to taste it, lolz they are really great that it will make you want more...

  2. All stuff sold in your country will have to pass the regulations in your country so don't worry about it.  You can get some fantastic ingredients in asian and african shops, I shop in our local indian supermarket all the time, it's the best place to buy spices and some things that you just can't get elsewhere.  It's not racist to recognise that different countries have different food production standards, but you don't need to worry about it as everything should be legal according to the health regulations of your country.

  3. Yes, there is nothing wrong with buying food from Asian shops in America
