  1. The rings are beautiful, but tanzanite does not hold up to the wear and tear of daily wear. have a right-hand nearly identical to the e-ring, and a month after I got it, there was a chip int he stone, and that was from everyday wear and tear. I love tanzanite, and my friend owns a jewelry store specializing in gems, so I know a good amount on the subject. When looking for a diamond alternative, you refer to the other Three precious stones, because they're highest on the stone strength scale after diamond.

As for whether I would buy online or not, I would only buy if they had a good return policy.

  2. We bought all three of our rings online.  We made some phone calls to the company and had the shipping insured.  I even had to return one ring (it was the wrong one).  We had a great experience.  Like everyone has said, make sure you get insurance and double check to make sure the company is legit.

    Enjoy!

  3. I have without a problem, but make sure when using your card it is insured. Very nice by the way.

  4. I don't know about uk companies. Just wanted to tell you that those two won't work together - if you chose that e-ring, you would need a chevron band, or guard/enhancer to go around the centre stone.

A style like this would be easier to match a band with -

  5. Well 1st congratulations. Yes they go together well from the pictures.

Would I buy them online - I cannot see why not, they have a returns policy, and like others have said I would use a credit card. (if I were spending that sort of money I would have too!! ;-))

Good luck and I hope she says "yes"!

  6. Two words -- use a CREDIT CARD then you are insured

  7. Nope, not jewelry. I would print a copy of the ring and look for it, or ask a reputable jeweler to make it.

  8. yes use a credit card

  9. Buying online can be a good experience as long as the company lists a working telephone number and you review their return and exchange policies. Check them out with the BBB and be sure to use a credit card to make the purchase.
