Would you buy used party supplies from someone?

Question

I have a bunch of themed party supplies - some extras never used (like napkins, party bags, plates & platters), other items - like centerpeices and decorations were used but are in very good condition to be reused.

Would you buy party supplies like these from someone in order to save money?

Do you think it is worth my effort to try to sell them?

Absolutely!! There are many people out there who are willing to buy used to save money. One way you can sell your stuff, and not have to ship items is to list it on www.craigsist.com. Then you can sell to people in your area. It can't hurt to try.

I definitely wouldn't throw them away.  What a waste.

You could either have a yard sale, or even donate them to a charity, boys/girls club, home for the little wanderers, any shelter.  They could always find a use for the plates and napkins and perhaps the decorations too.  And what a great feeling knowing you helped someone a little less fortunate.

To answer your question, if the party supplies were packaged and not open, perhaps.  If its something that was actually already used, no.

I would say no.  You will prob find a use for them someday and I dont thing that I would buy used.... I would however borrow from a girlfriend!  Keep them they will get used!

well personally no i wouldnt buy them unless they were dirt cheap however borrowing from a friend is completely different!

what ever you do if u do end up just throwing them away make sure you recycle what you can!

Absolutely! ....... sell them on eBay.....  Charge $9.50 for shipping, which is a flat rate priority box (up to 70 lbs)

My mom always sells what left since she makes everything her self and its awesome, nothing like the lame overpriced store items!
