  1. It would depend on a few things.  If I needed it quickly, I'd try for something closer to me first.  If there was no rush, and the seller had good feedback, I would have no problem buying it from hong kong.

  2. I have purchased items from all over the world.  Even items sold in Canada/US have likely been made in developing countries if they're massed produced.

  3. I have bought worldwide in the past, but not much at all in the last couple of years.  In the 90's (before Paypal), I used to send cash overseas and never even had a problem with that.  However, eBay's gotten a lot bigger now.  Still, scammers aren't going to stick around building up feedback only to blow it on a few transactions, no matter where they're from.  Even some Republicans can be trusted.  :)

  4. Some of the Hong Kong sellers are apparently quite legitimate. If they don't deliver, ebay will get rid of them. If ratings are high it is probably a good company.

Having said that, since most things can be bought from in-country I prefer to do that or buy from a local shop. I like the idea of being close to the seller geographically to recieve the merchandise faster. Unless buying in person.

  5. Yes, why not.

Use the secure pay point called Pay Pal, otherwise forget it.

Most decent goods are now bought from the USA.

  6. No i wouldn't i only buy within the UK, only because if im on ebay im looking fora good deal and not a cheap product with high shipping costs also i prefer UK branded products for most things and don't buy any clothes or shoes that aren't shop branded, i know the quality of the items by the shop.

  7. I'd be a little sceptical what if it turns out something damaged or not to my liking.

  8. I have used ebay but I haven't bought anything from hong kong.  I think the only reason I haven't is because typically it is more expensive to get it shipped here from there and you can typically find the same thing in the states and the shipping is cheaper.  If I did come across something I wanted and it was cheaper even with shipping I would go ahead and buy it from Hong Kong, why not.

  9. hong kong ...its normally alright to order from there...can take 14 days to come

  10. No.  The shipping from overseas is way more expensive, & it may be hard to communicate if there's a problem.

  11. Yes, i have done many times and all has been ok!!

  12. yeah i have i am buying something from there tonight it better not be my DS touch pen:-S

  13. Depends entirely on feedback - I've bought a few things from HK, usually very good & really quick delivery (quicker than stuff sent from the UK at the same time!)

  14. I would, and have.  Just be aware that you may or may not be getting a legitimate product.  There is a lot of p****y in Hong Kong.  If the price is a little too good to be true, it's probably not an entirely legal product (especially where DVDs and CDs are concerned).
