OMG. he didnt ACTUALLY canoe out to sea. why is everyone so bloody ignorant?

here's what happened:

They bought about 6 houses, and tehrefore owed 300k.

They planned TOGETHER for him to go to Peru and she would cash in on his 'death' money then come to Peru with him.

TOGETHER they PUSHED an EMPTY canoe out to sea.

He flew to Peru and bought a house etc.

She stayed here, told everyone he had died and obviously the empty canoe was out at sea to prove it.

She told EVERYONE, including their sons, that he was dead.

She kept going on holiday to meet him, thinking that when she had enough money she could up and leave, go to Peru start a new life, everything be happy.

They got caught.

Their sons went to court and said their parents have ruined their lives and should be put in prison.

It all got put in the news

The really funny part was the police intercepted an email in which she told him "get your bum back here, I have something hot for you!"
