Would you care about a scratch on a camera?

would you care about minor scratches (that you can see but is not deep) on your camera flash?.........is it common to hav minor scratches on the flash???

  1. Rule of thumb:  If you don't notice a reduction in picture quality, don't worry about it.

    If you do notice something, since it is on the flash, it would most likely be a weird shadowy figure on the pictrures, kind of like when your fingure is in the way of the flash when it fires.

  3. Flash? Not at all. You get enough scratches on a flash, it will act like a diffuser. (Don't go out and purposely do that).

    On the lens, on the other hand, will surly give me a stroke. Another reason to use a clear (UV) filter if there is one for it, for protection.

  4. It all depends on how long I had the camera and how much did I pay for it. Over time you should expect a scratch or two with out proper care.
