Prone to live

To give...yet

Somehow given

Still driven to live

Your life as it is

Exchanging notes

Boarding boats

Sailing to new ports

Last resorts of beauty

He writes his duty

Free from the ashes

Sitting in line

Waiting

Wanting

I really enjoyed that sentiment.  Feels as though it might be from or for military personnel. Could just be the current political environment making me think that way. Also, enjoyed the phrasing, not the standard ABAB rhyming pattern. Gave it the right punch. I bet this would be beautiful spoken with the right music behind it.  Thank you for sharing.
