Would you change your career?

iam 34 yrs old with 2 kids and havent been to school since i graduated from high school. i work in the food service industry and make 30-35k a year. i was thinking of getting a degree in business to make more money and better my family. however the food industry is one of the lowest paying professions. i am wondering if i should change my profession all together, and would a degree even help me in my line of work. i would change careers if i could make more money, please only serious replies, thank you

  1. I know exactly what you are talking about...

    I am 34 and just graduated last May with an AA and I am going for my BA now.

    Best bet would be to get an entry level job in a field that you are interested in.

    I plan on going to law school once I get my BA, but I am having a hard time getting my foot in the door at a law firm since I don't have any "law" experience.

    I would go to school.... Never hurts.
