A Lullaby for Emmy

by C.S. Scotkin

Look upon this baby’s face.

See our miracle of life?

See the truth of love and grace.

Look upon this baby’s face.

Look at trusting, wond’ring eyes,

hold her close with loving arms.

No fears now can cloud her skies.

Look at trusting, wond’ring eyes.

See her promise shining bright?

May she live in peaceful times,

we will wish on stars tonight.

See her promise shining bright!

My Granddaughter is being baptized in two weeks, I wanted to give her something special.
