NO!  I commute one hour each way and hate.  If you can find something closer to home, try that...  really- I think you'd regret the drive...

long drives/commutes are proven to be unhealthy, too.

Id rather not, ive driven for an hour before and it getsa nnoying, if you can find something closer to home where you could drive for half an hour or use a bicycle then do that

do you have a reliable car?

that's a lot of driving.

an hour isn't so bad but 2 is a long drive.

the closer the better.

how much money will it cost you to drive this far, figure gas, insurance and wear on your car, not to mention loss of free time. 4 hrs each day? work 8 to 10 hrs, sleep 7 to 8 drive 4, not much left.

I think it would depend on the pay and how many days you work. I drive an hour to work but i work 15hr shifts so i only go 3 times a week. Also if you are driving you should take into consideration rising gas prices. If theres not any other job closer  i would go ahead and take it.

I have serveral times... once when I was working for the Phone Company I had a 110 minute commute because the only apartment I could find was that far away!! BUT the commute was on the train and I was 2 hours OFF the rush-hour so it was VERY comfortable and relaxing !!

Currently I commute one hour each way, but that's just for THIS client and the money is worth it.

My Brother DRIVES 2 hours each way... because the job pays VERY well, and his home was far away.

PERSONALLY, I'd like to see (here in California) more affordable housing located closer to jobs... the California Real Estate market is INSANE !!
