Would you consider Canada to be one of the more/most environmentally friendly counties in the world?

note: does not mean that canada has to be in the top few but at least better than 70-80% of the total number countries in the world.

yes, my hubby is from vancouver! :) The air is soo clean up there. And talk about the yummy vegan restaurants. Amazing

in my view, it is just environment friendly not the best because they were not able to meet their goal in the kyoto protocol which is to reduce emissions by 6%. the country is environment friendly because they still continue to lessen emissions.

not really we have no national based policies on reducing our energy use and consumption,we have no polices on green energy projects,the government has not given enough tax breaks or tax incentives for businesses or residences to create and innovate on green technologies and energies,lots of lip service but no political party has a real policy in place (maybe the Green Party)Any polls that go out it seems Canada never does well in them when it comes to the environment.
