Would you consider Jesus Christ to be a Conservative or a Liberal? And your reasons why.?

he was liberal in his day, in fact you could say he was a revolutionary that changed the way people thought, he stood up for those who were persecuted.

to be liberal is to challenge the broken ways and thoughts that are evident in the mainstream, if everyone gave they're opinions real thought and moral consideration then we would all be liberals.......and what a beautiful thought that is.

He was liberal in many ways. He went against the rituals and rules of the conservatives of his day. He recognized the needs of people as being more important than traditions and codes as interpreted by conservatives. He looked ahead in time to a period of justice and peace. He didn't look back and hope that we could relive a past that really never was as good as conservatives want to believe.

I think he was perceived as a revolutionary by the powerful Jewish authorities of the time.   That's what got him crucified.

His teaching went back to the written word, not man's interpretation of it.  That would make Jesus a conservative.

I would consider Jesus to be a social conservative (ex. anti-abortion, pro-faith based programs, anti-g*y marriage). However, I would consider him to be an economic liberal. (ex. supportive of welfare, social security, equalization of wealth).

Both.  He was severely persecuted for His teachings so this would make Him liberal and conservative because what is right and wrong is considered to be "conservative" and not open minded but whatever.. He had the truth in any case and His government will overtake and succeed where man's could not!
