  1. Having black or white pride is not racist in itself. Most blacks who are pro-black don't speak negatively about other races, they speak about things like equality,rights...e.t.c. People like Jesse Jackson are racist hate-mongers and a large number of blacks don't agree with him either. I can't personally think of a pro-white person or figure that hasn't thrown racism in with it. I believe that's why we have a double standard like we do. I mean I'm proud to be white, that's who I am but I'm married to a black man and he's proud of being black. We have no issues. People need to learn to distinguish the difference between pride and racism because they are in no way related. Its really stupid when you think about it...that's like someone saying I dislike g*y people because I'm a proud heterosexual or that I hate men because I'm proud to be female! Do you see how ridiculous it is when you take the black and white aspect out of it? Exactly.....

  2. Hmmm.... What a veiled comment.

The problem being is that "Pro-White" idiots are "Anti-Everyone Else"

  3. Can you please give me a link to support the accusation you are making against Mos Def?

I am a HUGE fan of his (Miss Fat Booty is my FAVE song!) and I don't recall hearing him make a statement like that.

And if he made such a statement, it must not be all that offensive because White people are still paying him to star in great movies and make great music.

  4. hes my new fav rapper now

    thanks

  5. Petey you just don't get it. Go to your local library or bookstore or Juneteenth celebration. Watch African American lives the next time it appears on PBS also watch Black in America on CNN then pose a question. Get killed??? I think history shows who was getting killed(lynched) in USA. Geeze, get a clue!
