Would you consider a 2005 Saturn Ion a cool car?

It's for my sister but will probably be mine in a couple years. It's black, it's the coupe with those weird suicide doors, it has standard Saturn rims, and a small spoiler. It gets a pretty god gas mileage (27-33), 2.0 litre V4, and not to mention a six disc cd changer. It's pretty cheap too. So do you think it's cool?

  1. I'm not fond of the styling because there are so many lines in the body. Looks a bit awkward wth the upswept taillights and the headlights a re a bit busy as well. if it's your first car and its free, then its the perfect car for you.

  2. It is an Inline-4, not V4.

They don't make V4 engines in cars. Just Inline-4 and H-4(Boxer) engines.

It is cool for a first car since it is new and a coupe and black with a spoiler.

  3. who cares?

better question is:  is it a good car?  is it a good deal?

by the time you've grown up some, 'cool' won't matter as much... and it's not a very good car overall.

  4. middle of the road

it's not as cool as some but it ain't butt ugly like some cars.

if you keep it clean and polished that puts you one step ahead of most ppl.

  5. I wouldn't call the Saturn Ion "cool." It's a pretty cheaply made, unsafe car. Saturn advertises that the side panels and stuff are "dent proof." Yeah, they're plastic. So they just crack. It's a cheap, economical ride, but definitely not cool. That's just my opinion though, other may think differently.
