Would you consider a person in the military a professional athlete?

Somebody I know thinks that people being in the military means that they are a professional athlete. He says that because they get paid to do it. I say they're not because they are not paid to play a sport. He says doing exercises and stuff is considered a sport. We are arguing about this topic. I would like to you what you guys think. Thanks

  1. no! ur friends a r****d! there not pros just because they shoot people u dont see ticket vendors or up coming events on T.V brodcasted by espn do u???


  2. Its not really getting paid for that ONE thing.., plus part of being a professional athlete is competing against other professionals.

    Definitely not professional athletes.

  3. h**l no its not a sport. They dont compete against other teams in front of crowds and sell tickets do they?
