I am starting massage therapist school soon and we are not allowed to wear jeans of any type. We need to wear something with an elastic waistband because we are going to be learning Yoga and Tai Chi. BUT it says we can't wear lounge-wear (their example was flannel PJ pants). Aren't workout pants the same thing or is that OK? I tried calling the school to clarify but they aren't there now.

  3. lounge wear is pretty much pajamas ya like flannel but also any other type of pajama pants. Active wear is more durable and meant to be worn to well be active where as lounge wear isnt made that way.

  4. active wear would be like, yoga pants, yoga top, you know, basically everything you can find in lululemon.

lounge wear would be pjs, flannel pants.

  5. yeah pj pants and flannel pants of any style or colour are definetly lounge wear.

lounge wear is something youd wear around the house, you wouldnt wear out side.

active wear is something youd wear if you went out of a jog, to the gym, or for an excercise class

workout pants like those adidas ones would be good...you can go for yoga pants too. as long as it isnt something youd wear to bed.

if you go to some place like scheels in the states or sportchek in canada, theyll have everything you need!
