Would you consider petrol (gasoline) to be expensive in Ireland?

It costs an average of 1.30€ per litre this is about $7.60 per gallon. How much does it cost in the US, or in your country ? Would you consider it to be expensive in Ireland?

In the US (michigan) it is about $4.10 or so per gallon

Thats cheaper than here in the UK! Our local garage has put up the price to 121.9p a litre for unleaded!

In India, after recent petrol price hike this month, 1gallon cost abt USD 4.45.
