  1. It sounds like a communist holiday to me.


  2. May day or labour day is the international workers day. It is a day of pride for the working class. Which doesnt make it communist since workers have minds of their own. It celebrates the achievements of the workers movement which lifted all people on wage labour out of the atrocious conditions of the victorian factory. However it also has an earlier tradition being a celebration of being the end of the hard winters in the northern hemisphere.
