I strongly believe that “company name” would benefit from my extensive knowledge and years of experience. I am very interested in working for “company name” and look forward to hearing about the final decision soon. It's good. One suggestion to make it a bit better... it's generic. It could be written about almost any company. Add something that shows that you specifically wrote this about the opportunity at hand. For example, after the 3rd or 4th sentence, mention a specific project you discussed with them that would be an especially good fit for you. Good luck!

Don't use the term "you all", list the people you spoke with by name.  Rather than saying "I am very interested" say, I look forward to the opportunity to work with ___ .  

You may want to do some internet research - great coverletters / thank you letters.  You can find examples on the internet sites.

four sentences that start with "I".  You need to emphasize more what they will gain from employing you, rather than what you will get from working for them
