  1. There are enough adverts on the TV for various products.

The UK Government, strangely has been quite timely in putting out Public Information films.

The problem is, there are many parents who just do not give a d**n. If their kids have already taken on lodgers, they can then spread them; thus they can then blame others for their laziness.

  2. NO, I would do it myself. Seems like a waste of money.

  3. Absolutely yes!!

Working in a primary school , this is an occupational hazard.

In the last term we had an epidemic of nits. It was incredible.

The infant teachers had to spend hours  inspecting  heads and then phone up 50 parents to ask them to collect children from school and not bring them back till they were gone.

Some parent´s reacted really badly, but it was a crisis situation.

They are SO resistant and hard to get rid of that some people genuinely believe they´ve  gone and send the kids back to re infest the others. At least half of the staff caught them.

It takes hours to get rid of them if you have long hair.

And as for people being "embarrassed" - nits usually go for clean hair.

You very rarely find a manky kid with headlice.

I´m back to work next week...my head is itching just thinking about it.

  4. I have a Derbac steel comb that I found somewhere. They are the best thing for head lice and they stopped making them so if any body needs one let me know.

  5. No I wouldn't it is very easy to get rid of them yourself.

  6. there is one in birmingham

  7. I have truly seen everything now.

Imagine having that on your passport....Nitty Nora.

Mine have never had them..which is due to one of two things-

    a) They are minging and as Jomamo says they don't like dirty hair.

    OR

    b) Even biddies find my kids repulsive.

  8. I think the schools should have something in place, because some parents don't care or do anything about it....

Personally I'd do it myself it can be embarrassing enough for the kids.....
