  1. Date not marry. I don't think I could go through the slow death of my wife

  2. If I fell in love with someone, I wouldn't let any type of sickness stop me from loving them for the rest of their life.

  3. Sorry, but no. That isn't something I would want to be dealing with. I would assume that someday I would want to have children, and in order to do that we must have unprotected s*x. Now if I didn't want children then things may be different.

  4. There are quite a few couples where one partner is HIV + and the other is negative. It all depends on how much they love each other. The issue of having or not having children does not come into the equation, and I've known discordant couples with uninfected children because  the mother's infection was well-controlled with antiretroviral therapy during pregnancy, and the father was wiling to take the risk because they wanted a child very badly.

So don't lose heart, there's always someone to whom the person matters more than the disease.

  5. NO, not if i wanted to be intimate with them

  6. that depends how much u like him/her

and if u feel confident that u r safe and u guys r taking all precautions, then i guess

  7. This is a hard question, only because HIV kills.  This person, despite having a disease, could be an amazing person.  But it would be really hard to fall in love and marry someone, knowing they are going to die sooner than you most likely.  It also depends on how they got HIV.  Was it from illegal drug use?  Was it from sleeping around with 20 people unprotected?  I wouldn't date a person with those characteristics.

I also wouldn't want to marry someone I couldn't have s*x with or have children with.

Yes, everyone will die, but knowing they will have to die earlier than normal, I think would be devestating.  I personally wouldn't, but I can't speak for others.
