Would you date someone who actually LIKED reality shows?

Question

I used to have no standards at all for women. If I liked her, that was good enough. Now I have this one minimum standard. How about you? What are your minimum standards. Anything like this one?

LOL!  I might agree with you if it was a new relationship, but the girl I've already loved for years & years likes reality shows and I'm already too attached to her to dump her.  She likes fashion so she watches Project Runway, and she likes dancing so she watches Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.  

There is some really good dancing on So You Think You Can Dance, and she'll occasionally back up the TIVO and call me in to see one.  That's not too bad, getting to watch the good dances without having to put up with all the reality show bullsh*t.

But I agree with you, reality shows highlight not just the worst things about TV in general but the worst things about US culture.

I don't like reality shows but I have two exceptions...Project Runway and Dancing with the Stars, because even if they are manipulatively stupid, one still has great fashion and the other one has great dancing. Plus, I record them and fast forward though the most stupid parts, like all the blah, blah, blah, drama and scoring! (I guess I'm like one of the previous poster's girlfriend...)

Now, I don't like to watch sport but I would not mind a guy watching sports, as long as he's not an out of shape couch potatoe with a belly. Come to think of it, an out of shape couch potatoe with a belly could watch anything he wants, because I would never have to see that!

I think my standard would be horror movies. The guy could look like Brad Pitt, if I have to listen to horrible screamings all the time, that would turn me off for sure.

What about someone you would not have dated but then you realized he/she likes the same shows you like? Once you found your soul mate, who cares what he/she looks like...

i'm a girl but i hate reality shows. don't let that get in your way of a cute girl. go for somone you really like. no matter what she watches

who cares otherwise if he likes reality shows or not if hes good looking and has an awseome personality then hes perfect for me.

hmmm my minimum standards  would be if he was racist or sexist that would be my deadline...hope it helps with whatever ur doin

Yes, I like reality shows (besides, I can have my own TV and watch whatever I like, and he has his own showing other programs)!

My minimum standards are

- He must like food and is willing to try different kinds of food and he knows a lot about food!

- Taller than me, average build, older than me

- Non-smoker (this is a must)

- We can communicate in English /Cantonese
