  1. No.

  2. It depends how much more educated i was.  I've seen people split up just because it was a BA vs. high school diploma.  It wasn't the one with the BA who broke it off either, it was the one with a high school diploma.

The less educated one felt inferior, in a sense.

Personally, i would want to marry someone who has educated if i was (which i very well may be!).  It would be a preference, but love has been known to prevail.  Also, if i had a PhD, i'd probably have a hard time forming an intimate relationship with someone who had no secondary education.  It would be too hard to communicate and share feelings about some things i think.

  3. Sure.  In fact, I married him.  I'm working on my doctorate and he has most of a bachelor's degree.  But he's successful and intelligent and openminded and interested in history and current events...he just doesn't care much for letters behind his name.

  4. yes, you don't learn to be polite, honest, lovely, sensitive in school.

  5. Yes. His education would only be a concern for him, not for me.

  6. Yes!  I have no problem with that, as long as they were equally as driven and motivated to succeed as me.

Often, the fire of desire outweighs education in success.

  7. Well, if you mean formal education, sure. Literacy is preferable, but I'm flexible.

  8. Yes I would.

In fact, I often prefer guys who are educated differently (I think "less well" is a bit snobbish). They're more interesting.

  9. Yep - and I have.

  10. Probably, in fact I did once go out with a man who had fewer education qualifications than me, we'd both left school at sixteen after taking our 'O' levels, but I had six and he only had three.  So I suppose that made him less educated.  However, it evidently didn't put women off him, his wife had a Phd and a much better job than him and earned far more money than he did, but she was totally in thrall to him.

  11. Yes, if we have good chemistry.

  12. only if they have something else to make up for it...

  13. As long as she's hot, for Christ's sake I don't want to s***w her brain.

  14. It's the only option available to me :(

  15. of course.

  16. yes...as long as they graduated high school though
