Would you date this guy? or would you throw him out the window?

Question

he is only 22 years old but......

- when you ask him to go to the shore he says "nah, i am too fat to be within 100 miles of the shore."

- when you ask him to go out to dinner he says "nah, i dont want to spend any money."

- when you ask him to join the gym with you he says "nah, i am a fat boy, and i will never be good."

- when you ask him if he will ever get a job he says "nah, i cant be bothered. i refuse to work for less than 1.2 million per year."

- his diet consists of frozen burritos, frozen waffles, bologna sandwiches, and fried chicken skins.

- his idea of a fun friday night is sitting at home and watching "the shawshank redemption." then promptly going to bed once the movie is over.

this is a weird person no?

Nobody is going to love someone who doesn't even like themselves.

And no-one is going to have the chance to like you if you stay home all the time and eat a diet that will kill you in ten years.

I wouldn't date this guy, OR throw him out the window, but if I was his family or friends, I would try to get him some counselling and support for his depression and suicidal tendencies.

How can anyone like him when he obviously does not like himself, but even overweight, uninspired misers who lack any self esteem need someone who cares.  I don't think he is weird but I would not date this guy, NOR would I throw him out the window.  Instead I would try to get him some counseling and support especially from his family and friends if he has any.  =P

He sounds awful. What fun is a boyfriend like that?  If you don't get out of this relationship now all you can expect is that soon you'll be like him.  Your life will be limited to eating doritos in front of the tube with him by your side.  His idea of fun will be going to the movies and more junk food.  Yes, he sounds depressed but you can't change him, you can only change yourself.  I speak from experience, I was married to a man like him.  I gained 100 lbs before I realized I had to get out.  I had not changed him, but I'd allowed him to change me.  Get out now.

Sounds more depressed than weird.  Now someone who would choose the identity "Robert E. Lee" and sport an icon of the man with a confederate flag in the back...now THAT is weird my friend.

Yes, he's weird and no, I would not date him...  already have, years ago. These people aren't easy to deal with.

Also, the South lost, and they're not going to be rising again. Unless there some sort of weird Southern Rapture the scriptures failed to cover.
