Like if someone had a gun pointed at you and said, "you or the dog"... or cat, or parrot, or monkey... whatever.

  1. I love my pets but, when it comes down to it I choose my life over my pets. It seems crazy to choose a pets life over your own. Sorry I'm just being honest, aside from that when you die who's going to care for your pets.

  2. Good question it makes you think. Its kinda of really a hard question because he wouldnt just kill one of you and then walk away he would most likely kill both right?

  3. while i would like to say yes, because i do truly love my pets with all my heart, i'd have to say no. i am a mother and could not orphan my child for a pet. i could beg and hope that if they didn't have compassion that at least it was a quick and merciful death, but my child having a parent to grow up with comes first.

  4. I'd pick me....srry. But if there was a animal abuser and my dog stuck on train tracks and a train was coming, i would save my dog before the abuser.

  5. NO!

  6. For the longest time, I've had the feeling that that will be how I'll die.  Well, not specifically the gun, but protecting my pets from something.  If they were about to die and I could save them but didn't, what kind of life would that be if I had to endure that guilt for the rest of my life?  My budgies and cockatiel depend on me, and I knew when I took each of them in that I would have to do everything they need to survive, and that's fine with me because I love them so much.

  7. I would die for my rabbit, dog , cats etc. they are so important to me. I just couldnt live without them.

  8. No way....................

  9. if i wasnt a mother and a wife i would in a heartbeat. my pets are more than pets to me lol....they are like my babies but yet i know in reality they are animals and i have a family. but i would in fact kill someone over my pets if that helps.

  10. i treat my animals like they are each my babie so i have to say i would hope they would kill me fast so i could not feal the pain... and just hope that they find a good home someware else ... they would have a chance t moove on .... that and my life is not all that important

  11. I think so....my dog and my horse at least they can have the lizard and eat it for all I care (ungratefull little biting pest). But yes I think I would die for my horse, Raven, My dog, Aspen, and my bunnies Monkey and Winston!!

  12. Well that scenario isn't a good one to use as an example because anyone pointing the gun in that situation would most likely kill both of you if they were willing to kill one of you. But in like a fire or something you better believe I would die at least TRYING to save my babies.

  13. I would definitely risk my life for my pets. 5 years ago I came home and found my apartment building on fire and I had to go in to get my dogs. When the fire was extinguished part of the building had collapsed in the middle of my apartment and my younger dog's kennel was right at the edge where I could see it. I was so grateful he wasn't in it. I decided then, especially after seeing the grief of people who were not able to save their pets that I would rather die trying to save them than live with the grief of losing them and knowing I could have done more.

  14. i would die for my cat any day she means alot to me and if i could help it i would never want her to die i couldnt live with my self knowin i could have saved her. i dont ever want to lose a pet again it hurts to much even if its a pet or cat in my case.... their more than a pet to me they are my family and friend. its like askin if you would choose between you or our best friend or sister/brother. i would put my life on the line before i let anyone touch my loved ones.

  15. i would never die for my dog if someone said "you or him". i mean i love him.. i love him even when he wakes me up at 5 am but c'mon, he's an animal.
